Career Craze Offers Youth a Glimpse of Agriculture and Manufacturing Jobs

Credit Hopkinsville Community College Youth Programs

Carol Kirves, Associate Dean of Continuing Education for Hopkinsville Community College, talks about Career Craze, summer camps that offer students a glimpse into jobs in agriculture and manufacturing, and KICKS, a 23-year tradition in summer camps offering kids the experience of choosing what they want to learn, as well as another camp for teaching young students about decision making.

According to Kirves, the Career Craze camps are filling up with the agriculture camp having more openings than the manufacturing camp at this time...but remember, there is a waiting list.  Again, see more at hopkinsville.kctcs.edu.  Go to Youth Programs under Community Education.
