Cantrell is Mayfield's New Mayor

Mayfield, KY – Former assistant to the Mayor in Mayfield now has her boss's job. Teresa Cantrell defeated her boss, incumbent Mayor Arthur Byrn by just under a thousand votes in last night's election. Cantrell's campaign slogan of, "it's about time," explains she's been eyeing the job for close to 10 years. Neither Byrn nor Cantrell were available for comment on the race.

He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011.
