Bevin to Proclaim ‘Day of Prayer’ in Support of Shooting Victims

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin will proclaim Sunday, January 28 as a day of prayer for Marshall County shooting victims. 

Bevin, Lieutenant Governor Jenean Hampton and members of the faith-based community are holding the special event at the Marshall County Children’s Art Center on Friday at 10 a.m.

The event will be livestreamed on the governor’s official Facebook page.

Police say a 15-year-old student opened fire at Marshall County High School on Tuesday, killing two and injuring 18.

Students returned to the high school Friday morning.
