Murray State University has selected their next Dean of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, pending approval from the Board of Regents.
Acting Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Renae Duncan said David Balthrop will serve in the role beginning July 1.
Balthrop has served as Chair of the Theatre Department since 2000.
Staci Stone served as Interim Dean and led the search committee. She will return to her role as Associate Dean of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts.
