Author Hook Talks About the Writing Life and Her New Novel
Tina L. Hook is a Murray resident and a newly published author. Her first novel, Enchanted by Starlight, was released earlier this year in paperback and on Kindle. One blogger calls the book, “chick lit with just a hint of paranormal.” It’s the story of three women whose lives take an extraordinary turn when an enchanted comet gives each of them a special power. One becomes a socialite, another makes men fall in love with her, and the third looks for revenge.
Hook is a Florida native, and a small town transplant. Her blog girlwithanewlife.com is a collection of memories, flash fiction, and inspirations.
On Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hook will be at the University Book Store at Murray State's Curris Center. She will sign books, and talk to readers. The event is free and open to the public.
