APSU Passes 10k Enrollment Mark

By Chris Taylor

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville's Austin Peay University has passed its enrollment goal of 10,000 students this semester. President Tim Hall announced the news yesterday in front of a crowd gathered outside the Morgan Student University Center on campus. He says the school is the fastest growing university in Tennessee with 10,188 students enrolled this fall. According to the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle, APSU has grown 40% since 2000. Many students are participating in the school's celebration campaign by holding up signs that read "I was there!" and getting their photograph snapped of where they were when the school passed its landmark goal.
