Afternoon Round-Up 4/9/12
Today on NPR: Facebook is Buying Instagram (Somewhere in Portland a hipster is quietly sobbing into his can of PBR)
And now the news from around our region:
In Kentucky's Capitol: charter school legislation will wait another year as lawmakers adjourn. And Governor Beshear puts ink on paper signing bills passed during the General Assembly.
Residents of Western Kentucky's Marshall County will join the city of Murray in voting on alcohol sales on July 17th.
Kentucky's drivers and motorcyclists will be receiving friendly reminders from Kentucky State Police social media services on safe driving habits. And websites are offering fake GED's to Commonwealth residents.
That's it for this lovely April 9th afternoon. Merry Monday.
