African Children’s Choir to Perform in Hopkinsville

The African Children’s Choir is performing in Hopkinsville next month.

The choir is composed of youth from several countries between the ages of 7 to 10 who have lost one or both parents through war, famine and disease. 

The choir performs around the world raising money for Music for Life and raising awareness for impoverished or orphaned African children.

According to a release, MFL has educated more than 52,000 children through relief and development programs.

The free performance is April 17th at 7 pm at the Restoration House Family Worship Center in Hopkinsville.

The performance features children’s songs, spirituals and gospels.

Ebony Clark is a student at Murray State University majoring in computer science. She was born in Brownsville, Tennessee. Ebony has served as a reporter for 4-H congress in Nashville, TN where she spoke with several state leaders and congressmen. Ebony enjoys writing poetry and spoken word and competed in Tennessee's Poetry Out Loud competition hosted by the arts council in Nashville,TN.
