Paducah, KY – Two people were injured yesterday afternoon in a three-vehicle accident on Wayne Sullivan Drive in Paducah. Paducah resident Ronald Stegner was taken to Western Baptist Hospital in critical condition. Police say James Thompson of Princeton pulled out from an access road in front of the C-Plant Federal Credit Union, when he hit a van driven by Joshua D. Wilkes. Wilkes' van then swerved into oncoming traffic, slamming head-on with Stegner's car. Thompson was also taken to Western Baptist and treated for minor injuries. Wilkes declined treatment.
