$13.4M to Fund I-24 Asphalt Upgrades in McCracken Co.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has awarded $13.4 million for improvements to Interstate 24 in McCracken County. The project to replace asphalt pavement between Exits 3 and 16 begins in March. Grand Rivers-based Jim Smith Contracting Company will head up the project. It’s slated for completion by the end of September next year.
KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says drivers should expect lane closures and road delays periodically throughout the spring and summer.
