Cheri is a broadcast producer, anchor, reporter, announcer and talk show host with over 25 years of experience. For three years, she was the local host of Morning Edition on WMUB-FM at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Cheri produced and hosted local talk shows and news stories for the station for nine years. Prior to that, she produced and co-hosted a local talk show on WVXU, Cincinnati for nearly 15 years. Cheri has won numerous awards from the Public Radio News Directors Association, the Ohio and Kentucky Associated Press, and both the Cincinnati and Ohio chapters of the Society for Professional Journalists.

A Kentucky man and his transgender wife are suing online retailer Amazon alleging workplace discrimination. They’re claiming violations of a number of federal and state laws.

The City of Williamstown has rejected the latest request by the Ark Encounter theme park to reduce the amount of a new “safety assessment fee.” Earlier this year, the city imposed a per-ticket charge of 50 cents to cover the cost of increased police and fire services.

Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to be in Lexington on Wednesday as part of the Administration’s efforts to get support for the health care bill being considered in the Senate. Arriving on Air Force Two with the Vice President  will be Sixth District Representative Andy Barr.
