Interest in Calls from Bunning Growing

Frankfort, KY – A spokesman for Republican Senator Jim Bunning says the 77-year-old northern Kentuckian's weekly press teleconferences are becoming more popular. In the latest one, Bunning charges government bureaucrats are to blame for Cold War heroes dying before their claims are processed, leaving their families with no compensation. Political blogger David Adams says Bunning makes news every time he talks. The rise in popularity of the Senator's conferences may be because he faces potentially strong challengers in next year's election.

Traffic Advisory: US-45/Joe Clifton Drive

Paducah, KY – Road crews have restricted lanes on US-45/Joe Clifton Drive in Paducah beginning today and lasting for the next four days. The road work is being done to repair pavement rutting on a half-mile section between Jefferson and Harrison Streets. The lane restrictions will effect both north and south-bound traffic.
