Report Exposes Truck Safety Violations

Louisville, KY – With the Labor Day weekend fast approaching, a new report shows Kentuckians should take caution when traveling, particularly around commercial trucks. The analysis by the American Association of Justice puts Kentucky 11th worst in the nations in the number of trucking companies with safety violations. Library Opens at Mall

Madisonville, KY – The Madisonville-Hopkins County Public Library will open in a new location tomorrow. An engineering firm ruled the downtown facility unsafe after noting damage from an underground spring. The new setup will open operations in the former Dawahare's location in the city mall. The library has been closed since August sixth for the move. Employees expect the relocation will be temporary while repairs are made to the downtown building.
