Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear is trying to boost enrollment in the Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program, or K-CHIP. He says parents can go online to kidshealth.ky.gov to find details of the plan and enrollment information.
"Too many of our children in this state lack health insurance and thus they often don't get the healthcare that they need. This is unacceptable. It's also costly because many of their conditions later become chronic illnesses."
