Wall visited western Kentucky Thursday, stopping by Murray State before making a Rotary presentation. Murray State's Electronic Media Services has a production partnership with KET for The Kentucky Channel, providing programming like Roundabout U & the annual Holidays at Murray State concert of the University Choirs. Swine Flu Death Reported in Madison Co.

Richmond, KY – Another swine flu death is being reported in Kentucky. Madison County Health Department officials say a 59-year-old man died from complications caused by the virus. They report the man had significant underlying health issues. It was the first swine flu death reported in Madison County and the 12th in the state.

Conway Wants US Supreme Court to Hear KY Case

Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway says he will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to review a state Supreme Court ruling that loosened restrictions on where convicted sex offenders can live. Lawmakers passed a law in 2006 barring sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of schools, daycare centers, and other places where children congregate. The state Supreme Court called the law unconstitutional because it applied retroactively to sex offenders convicted before the restrictions were imposed.
