Cuba, KY – Kentucky State Police have charged a Mayfield man with attempted murder following a domestic dispute in south Graves County. Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint from a Cuba Road resident and discovered 61-year-old Larry Banks had attempted to shoot and assault at least one person at the residence. Banks is also charged with wanton endangerment, terroristic threatening and 4th degree assault.

Murray, KY – The National Weather Service is re-writing its tornado warnings to convey more urgent danger. A study conducted after last February's deadly storms in Kentucky and Tennessee raised questions abut how seriously people took the warnings and sought shelter. Meteorologist Don Kirkpatrick is with the national weather service office in Louisville.

Barlow, KY – Debris removal crews will continue clean-up efforts in Ballard County Wednesday. Contractors for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plan to work along U-S 60 between Barlow and the Ballard-McCracken County line near Kevil. The work is expected to take up to two weeks to complete. Motorists should expect moderate delays and use caution while traveling through these areas.
