Fulbright Schoarship recipient back from Germany

Murray, KY – The Fulbright Scholarship program is a prestigious award that allows educators to exchange ideas and experiences across cultures. Murray State Associate Professor of Music Dr. Stephanie Rea is one of 3 M-S-U faculty members to receive a Fulbright Scholarship in the past year. Rea just returned to campus after a five-month stay in Frankfort, Germany, and she sits down with Chris Taylor to tell us more about her work.

Madisonville Receives Some FEMA Money

Madisonville, KY – Officials say the city of Madisonville has received partial reimbursement for ice storm expenses. FEMA has sent payment of nearly 1-point-6 million dollars for protective measures, debris clean-up, and electrical repairs. The money will be used to repay bank loans the city had taken out to cover the work. FEMA has certified up to 2.2 million dollars in eligible ice storm-related expenses for Madisonville.

It's a physically accessible sport for all age and athletic ranges, attracting a diverse group of players. The object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws. Think golf, with a heavy Frisbee.
