The festival will be in downtown Martin from September 1 to 8, featuring music by Dustin Lynch, The Martins, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Tim May, Survivor, and Sawyer Brown. According to the festival website, the festival got its start 20 years ago and celebrates the "crossroads of good living," allowing people to "pay homage to a tiny, but worthy vegetable that is capable of feeding and fueling everday lives." See more about Martin's Soybean Festival.

Fri, 23 Aug 2013 20:52:49 +0000 Tracy Ross 34269 at http://wkms.org Celebrate the Soybean in Martin Record Lawsuit Awarded in Weakley County http://wkms.org/post/record-lawsuit-awarded-weakley-county
The largest verdict in Weakley County, Tenn., history has been handed down in a medical malpractice lawsuit brought against HealthSouth Cane Creek Rehabilitation Hospital and one of its doctors.

The jury required the hospital pay $15.2 million to 23-year-old plaintiff, Cody Wade of Martin.

Thu, 11 Jul 2013 20:27:10 +0000 John Null 32987 at http://wkms.org Record Lawsuit Awarded in Weakley County
