Independence Day en MSU Town & Gown Plays 4th of July Weekend <p>The Murray State University Town and Gown Community Band celebrates Independence Day weekend with a concert Saturday night at 8 in Lovett Auditorium on the MSU&nbsp;campus. The concert is free and open to the public. The community band is a partnership between the university and the community, welcoming musicians of all ages to play together. In many places, those fireworks will come with a patriotic soundtrack — one that wouldn't be complete without "The Star-Spangled Banner."
