It's a landmark study and opportunity in Murray for anyone between the ages of 30 and 65 years old. They talk about the first two studies: the first from the 1950s, was a look at how smoking relates to cancer; the second, from the 80s, centered around nutrition guidelines for preventative methods like how sitting longer shortens longetivity. The third study will consist of doing a survey at home and then going to the Murray Calloway County Hospital. The goal is to find links among people across the nation to find out what causes cancer and what can be done to prevent cancer. See more about this study.

Wed, 07 Aug 2013 16:33:21 +0000 Kate Lochte 33787 at http://wkms.org Participate in National Cancer Prevention Study 3 MCCH's Keith Travis Gives Hospice House Fundraising Update http://wkms.org/post/mcchs-keith-travis-gives-hospice-house-fundraising-update
Murray-Calloway County Hospital Vice President of Institutional Development, Keith Travis, gives us an update on fundraising for the Hospice House, speaking with Kate Lochte on Sounds Good.
