Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway might be getting a new designation, as the Interstate 69 project gains momentum.</p><p>The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is currently conducting a study to determine whether the southern portion of the parkway could possibly receive Interstate status. Self says the specialty court will connect participants with Veterans Affairs programs in addition to keeping them from behind bars.</p><p><em>“They are paying taxes rather than being a burden on our tax system and still then provide them with the kind of help or assistance they need to restore their lives or get their lives back together.
