The first assault occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the Chase Apartment parking lot April 6th. The second attack was at 15th and Hughes streets around the same time April 14th. The second victim saw the attacker and describes him as a dark skinned male wearing a hoodie. Deputies pursued 27-year-old Jerry Page at speeds over 100 miles-per-hour after receiving complaints of reckless driving. Kentucky State Police reported the car Page was driving was also involved in a motor-vehicle hit and run in Marshall County. Deputies reported Page’s car spun out and stopped, allowing them to arrest him. Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says 35 year old Terry Patterson was wanted for a non-violent warrant when he shot at the deputy, then led him on a 90 mile per hour chase through Kaler, Kentucky. Redmon says Patterson then pulled into a driveway and barricaded himself in his car for an hour. He says Patterson eventually disarmed himself and was arrested. Police arrested 44-year-old Norman Landers for violating a domestic violence order when he came to the house after the fire started. Police questioned Landers about the blaze after Fire Marshall Greg Cherry determined the fire’s origin was suspicious. Police say Landers later admitted to starting the fire and is being held in McCracken County Jail. Police arrested Jackson while responding to reports of an altercation in the Murray WalMart parking lot. MSU Athletic Director Allen Ward had no comment about Jackson’s arrest.
