Led by our experienced education team, LEGO campers will develop STEM skills through engaging activities and LEGO builds that spark imagination. Whether they’re constructing towering structures or tackling themed design challenges, each day will bring new opportunities for learning and play. Spots are limited, so be sure to register early.
The 10-13 age group will meet July 7-July 10 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. On Friday, July 11 the camp will be from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Each day’s theme is listed below:

Soar into adventure this July with a fun, summer day. Create your own high-flying kites, then embark on an exciting geocache orienteering race. It’s a fun-filled day of outdoor exploration and adventure.

Please Note: Discovery Park of America’s Homeschool Day programs are designed specifically for participating students. To ensure the best possible educational experience, parents and guardians are not permitted to attend the sessions with their children. However, parents/guardians are welcome to purchase general admission at a discounted rate to explore the museum and heritage park.

Corey Elder and Addie Wilson will be at the library on July 8th at 6 pm with their children's book Balloon Boy Oak. They will be located by the entrance into the library.

Performances at 9:30, 11:00, & 1:00. Big Bang Boom! This high-energy, interactive, & parent-friendly children’s music show is great for grown-ups and children! Using their own original music and covers (with a twist), this group from Greensboro, NC will have one and all moving and grooving!
