Kentucky Defense Lawyers Plan To Sue Over ‘Vague’ Marsy’s Law Language

Along with elections for the state legislature and Congress, this November Kentuckians will weigh in on Marsy’s Law, which would amend the state constitution to create new rights for crime victims. But a group of criminal defense lawyers says they’ll sue to keep Marsy’s Law off the ballot, saying the language Kentuckians will see on Election Day is too vague.

Murray, KY – If Scrooge McDuck scrub-a-dubbing in his tub of gold coins delighted you, you'll enjoy meeting the Kentuckian who has gained acclaim abroad drawing Scrooge and writing his adventures for European comic book publishers. UK Graduate Don Rosa of Louisville studied civil engineering in order to take over the family business, but his heart belonged to Scrooge McDuck, whose destiny he believed to be intertwined with his own. And so it has evolved.

Murray, KY – On a warm night in June 1949, with his first number one record spilling out of radios across the country, a frail young man walked onto the stage of Nashville's Ryman Auditorium for his Grand Ole Opry debut. Behind him lay nearly a decade of struggle and rejection; ahead - little more than five years in the limelight. This of course was legendary singer/songwriter Hank Williams. His story will be told on stage at Murray's Playhouse in the Park in the play "Hank Williams: Lost Highway."
